About Paul M. Mathias, LLC
Paul M. Mathias Consulting, LLC is a proprietorship founded and managed by Dr. Paul M Mathias. Paul Mathias has over 41 years of broad experience as a chemical engineer and is an expert in applied thermodynamics and process modeling. He started his career on the ASPEN Project at MIT, which developed the forerunner to Aspen Plus. He worked at Air Products and Chemicals and Aspen Technology before joining Fluor in 2005. Paul has six patents, over ninety publications and has co-authored over one hundred thirty technical presentations. His chemical-technology experience covers petroleum, inorganics, gas processing, electrolytes and polymers. He is an AIChE Fellow and an associate editor of the Journal of Chemical & Engineering Data. Paul understands the engineering fundamentals, and has a record of providing practical modeling, design and troubleshooting solutions for the process industries.
